Workshop: Blogging for Business or Pleasure
If you’ve ever wanted to create a blog to share your expertise or passion, then this class is for you. In this introductory workshop, you will learn the basics of blogging including selecting your content niche, your target market, establishing yourself as an expert, developing a content calendar, and securing followers and fans.
Students should have a solid knowledge of the Internet, social media, and a passion to write!
Workshop: Journal Your Way to Joy
Have you always wanted to keep a daily journal but were overwhelmed with what to write? A blank page can be intimidating but keeping a journal can help you gain clarity and learn more about yourself. Jennifer will share her over 30 year’s experience with journaling and get you started on your path to joy. (Attendees bring their own journal.)
Last spring I attended your blogging class at NCC. I shared with you that my goal was to launch a blog in 2020 offering simple tips on saving and investing.
It’s now 2020…and I DID IT!
It’s a monthly blog sharing simple tips on saving and investing. The purpose of my blog is to share what I’ve learned about money management and investing, and to help people achieve their financial goals.
Your class was a tremendous help to me and I still remember some of the wise words you shared with our small group. Here are some of the takeaways from your class that I think of when I am writing:
Content is king…and queen!
What is the purpose of my blog and who am I blogging for? (You are writing for your readers, not for yourself.) Understand your audience.
Pick a timeline and stick with it.
My site is still new and I will be adding more features over the coming months, but I wanted to take this moment to thank you for sharing your knowledge. Zoe C.
